BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, EACH PARTICIPANT REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS THAT THEY MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS DETAILED IN THESE RULES. FAILURE TO MEET ALL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. ENTRY CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES. ALL ENTRIES BECOME THE PROPERTY OF STRIDE ONLINE TUTORING, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES (THE “SPONSOR”) AND WILL NOT BE RETURNED OR ACKNOWLEDGED. THE SPONSOR’S DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING ON ALL MATTERS.

ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must sign up at https://stridetutoring.com/september-giveaway/ to enter the K12 Tutoring Education Grant Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”). The Sweepstakes is open to all legal, individual residents of the United States (with the exception of Florida, Rhode Island, New York and U.S. territories) who are age 18 or older, who are parents of a student in enrolled in grades K-12 AND will have a valid 529 savings plan account for the benefit of such student (“beneficiary”) and attest that funds will be used for qualified education expenses. Eligible parent/legal guardian and beneficiary are collectively (“Entrant”). Employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, and agents of the Sponsor their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, the Entrant agrees to comply with and abide by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, and Entrant represents and warrants that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the Sponsor’s decisions as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Sweepstakes. Entrants should look solely to the Sponsor with any questions, comments or issues related to the Sweepstakes.
HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided at https://stridetutoring.com/september-giveaway/and pass any verification requirements set by the Sponsor. The entry must fulfil all requirements of the Sweepstakes, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications of the Sweepstakes may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Entrants must provide the information requested. Entrant may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent these rules. If Entrant uses fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules of the Sweepstakes, Entrant’s submission may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Entrants are subject to all notices posted on our website, including but not limited to Sponsor’s privacy policy, terms of use and any applicable third-party terms of use and privacy policies.
WINNING ENTRY: The Sponsor will randomly select 1 valid entry by a method to be determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right (i) to reject any entry; (ii) to not award a prize if, in its sole and absolute discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries; and (iii) to cancel the Sweepstakes if prevented from timely continuing with it as planned herein by any event beyond its control. The odds of winning depend on the total number of entrants.
PRIZES & CORRESPONDING APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Winner will be chosen to receive a $10,000 deposit into a valid 529 savings plan account in the name of their child who must be enrolled in grades K-12.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winner will be notified via email and/or phone on or before October 10, 2024, and must contact Sponsor following the directions provided in the email or phone notification no later than October 17, 2024, to claim their prize. Winner will be asked to complete prize documentation, including but not limited to affidavit of eligibility and liability or other similar affidavit or release and provide relevant information, including but not limited to, designated beneficiary to receive the prize via wire transfer and such beneficiary’s 529 savings plan account information. If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize before the deadline, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Receipt of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes by the winner is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, these rules, and if requested by the Sponsor, any affidavit of eligibility and liability or other similar affidavit or release. Any violation of these T&Cs by the Winner at the Sponsor’s sole discretion will result in the winner’s disqualification as winner, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. The prize is nontransferable. Substitution of the prize or transfer/assignment of the prize to others or request for the cash equivalent of the prize by the winner is not permitted. No substitutions are permitted except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or portion of any prize with one of equal or greater value in case of unavailability.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Winners acknowledge that the Sponsor and all other businesses concerned with this and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, condition, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of any prize. Each winner will be responsible for any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation, all federal, state, local, and income taxes associated with the prize. Given the nature of the prize, Sponsor will need to a Form 1099-MISC to the winner for the amount of the total prize. Before accepting the prize, Winner should consult a tax advisor with respect to any tax consequences associated with receiving the prize. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission for Sponsor and its agents to use each winner’s name, entries, prize won, hometown, likeness, and video for purposes of advertising, trade, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or consent. Entrants (i) agree to these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, on their behalf, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (“Releasing Parties”); (ii) release, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor as well as their employees, officers, directors and agents (“Released Parties”), from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or equity, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, against Released Parties which any one or more of the Releasing Parties ever had, now have or hereafter may have which in any way arise out of or result from Entrant’s participation, acceptance or use or misuse of any prize. Entrants assume all liability for any injury, including death or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this event or use or redemption of any prize.
This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, U.S.A. without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. Entrants hereby agree that any and all disputes, claims, causes of action, or controversies (“Claims”) arising out of or in connection with this shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration pursuant to this provision and the code of procedures of either the National Arbitration Forum (“NAF”) or the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), as selected by the Entrant. IF ARBITRATION IS CHOSEN BY ANY PARTY WITH RESPECT TO A CLAIM, NEITHER PARTY WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO LITIGATE THAT CLAIM IN COURT OR HAVE A JURY TRIAL ON THAT CLAIM. FURTHER, NEITHER SPONSOR NOR ENTRANT HAS THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY ON BEHALF OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR OTHER PERSONS SIMILARLY SITUATED, OR AS A MEMBER OF ANY CLASS OF CLAIMANTS PERTAINING TO ANY CLAIM SUBJECT TO ARBITRATION. OTHER RIGHTS THAT ENTRANT WOULD HAVE IF ENTRANT WENT TO COURT ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION. The arbitrator’s authority to resolve Claims is limited to Claims between Sponsor and Entrant alone, and the arbitrator’s authority to make awards is limited to awards to Sponsor and Entrant alone. Furthermore, Claims brought by either party against the other may not be joined or consolidated in arbitration with Claims brought by or against any third party, unless agreed to in writing by all parties. No arbitration award or decision will have any preclusive effect as to issues or claims in any dispute with anyone who is not a named party to the arbitration.
Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of this Sweepstakes or in the announcement of any prize.
This Sweepstakes is void outside of the United States and where prohibited by law.

You understand that you are providing your information to the owner of the Sweepstakes and not to Facebook, X, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other third party social media platforms.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By entering the Sweepstakes you agree to release and hold harmless Stride Online Tutoring, Inc. and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, including indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive damage or exemplary damages,, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Sweepstakes; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (iv) technical errors of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (v) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (vi) printing errors; (vii) lost, late, postage due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail. The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, or tampering or hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to the Website. Mass entries, multiple entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. Entries made with multiple e-mail addresses, under multiple identities or through the use of any automated other device or artifice to enter multiple times will be deemed invalid.
