How often should my child use Beacon?

There is no set amount of time students need to spend with Beacon. It works best as an on-demand resource they can use when they are stuck, need more practice, or want to review a concept.

For some students, that may mean asking one question during homework. Others may use Beacon more regularly to review concepts, prepare for a test, or practice between tutoring sessions.

The goal is not to create another assignment or add unnecessary screen time. Beacon should make the learning students are already doing more productive by giving them support when they actually need it.

Over time, parents can focus less on the number of sessions and more on whether their child is becoming more confident, independent, and able to work through similar problems on their own.
